Mugs for Shaving | Shaving Mugs

I’ve been a fan of mugs ever since I can remember I’m sure I began collecting when I was about 7 years old when my father brought out an extra cool mug which I absolutely fall in love with. But I just love a good ol' shaving mug And guess what I still have it to this day. I use it for my coffees in the morning however it isn’t a conventional mug, it’s a shaving mug. It’s actually a vintage shaving mug as I’ve had the mug for about 25 years now, and It was about 20 years old when I first got it as a child. So the shaving mug is now about 45 years old plus and its worth a bit of money, but that’s not why I collect mugs. I collect mugs because I love all the different designs. I have many mugs from all the world exclusive mugs small mugs and big mugs. I don’t use most of them because they are worth quite a bit of money but I do use my shaving mug because I love and always have used it. The mug that I have in my hand now is another one of my beauties, it’s from the 60’s a classic Beatles mug, with the photo from Abby road album cover on the mug, and this is also one of my favourites. However I’ve really begun to collect shaving mugs more than anything they look so much better and seem to range from times further back in history. I think one of the earliest mugs I have is one from the 1920’s which has a image painted on of Harlem back then, the shaving mug has a load of jazz musicians playing music, I’ve released collecting these mugs that they often are a sign of times. For example the Beatles mug is typical of the 1960’s where as the jazz mug is quite typical of the 1920’s. I have many mugs in between all of these times. Showing controversial images from the 1940’s to today’s shaving mug which show everything from IPods to remakes of classic Shaving mugs. Who knows what the mugs in the future may have on them, star ships and futuristic paintings lol.
